Music Mixer

Monday, December 29th, 2008

A large amount of my friends were extremely disappointed in me when I ultimately switched over to digital machine. In fact, they are all garage rock snobs. If you need to have a rough and raw sound, you can do that on digital machine just as simply as with analog gear.

It’s not like you need to make everything sound processed if you don’t wish to.

Still, having good audio mixers and receivers permit you to do just that if you’d like to.

However , I was pretty used to using my analog audio mixer gear. It took a fair bit of time and money to line up a new audio recording studio. It isn’t especially prime quality, but I know ways to modify it to get just the right sound.

It is hard to become used to something so clean and exact. I have more control over the music than ever. I could even see on the digital readout how strong a signal was going thru. All of a sudden , I’m able to not do things by touch any more.

I have to actually know the level that I need as a number. It was regarded as an enormous change for me, but one that I have coped with pretty well. Naturally, the audio mixer is just one part of getting a good pro audio setup. Effects that used to need a specific recording round to line up, thousands of greenbacks of hardware, and specialized mics can now be simulated with a great degree of accuracy in most audio recording software. In the final analysis, it is worth the effort to catch up with the new technology.
